One of the west bound lanes on FM 455 has remained closed because the contractor is grinding that section. There were so many driveways and leave outs in the concrete paving that the road required a lot of profile grinding to get it within TxDOT ride quality spec. They are still in the process of doing it, but should be wrapping it up in the next week or so. After that, the pavement stripers should be here to restripe the westbound lanes for one-way traffic.
Please note that a portion of the eastbound lane around Oak Hollow will be closed while TxDOT constructs the sound wall adjacent to the Oak Hollow neighborhood.
